The radio has the favs keys & 6 pages of it that i can cycle through. I do not have XM but I have the problem that if I hit one of my old XM favs from using the wheel mounted controls, it stick to that xm station unless I push another fav button on the radio to go back to a fm station. I could just change all stations to fm but i don that many favs so i was wondering if I can tell the radio to not even show or skip xm?

I believe you're STUCK with that format... BUT will experiment in my Vibe to verify In my case I kept XM (paid the life membership as we LOVE music and keep our cars a long time ) and are using all SIX bands. According to the owners manual (see quote from it below) without XM, you should only have FOUR bands, BUT your car likely had it during the trial period so you're probably stuck with six bands whether use use them or not.Setting Preset StationsFAV (Favorites): Press to selectup to six pages of favorites. Each page contains six favoritestations, and each page of favoritescan contain any combination ofAM, FM, or XM™ stations. For vehicles without XM, onlyfour pages of favorites are available. To setup the number of favoritespages:1. Press the MENU button todisplay the radio setup menu.2. Press the button located belowthe FAV 1-6 label.3. Select the desired number offavorites pages by pressingthe button located belowthe displayed page numbers.4. Press the FAV button, or let themenu time out, to return to theradio screen. To store a radio station as a favorite:1. Tune to the desired radio station.2. Press the FAV button todisplay the page where it canbe stored.3. Press and hold one of thesix buttons until a beep sounds.4. Repeat the steps to store anotherradio station.Don't know if this helps you or not Good luck
