Hello!

Post by BrettZ »

Aquired a silver '05 base Vibe about a month ago and have been trolling these forums since. Figured it was time I sign up Car has about 55,000km and so far gets 27-28mpg (US gallons) city, very pleased. Looking into the cruise mod as soon as it stops raining and will switch it to synthethic (some pretty cold winter starts here).Had my eye set on a Corolla for a daily driver but come the test drive I just couldnt fit. Did some research and was pleased to see the identical drivetrain in a tall person friendly car Retired the '94 Corsica (278,000km). After a series of repairs I was questioning how much money I wanted to spend fixing it. Ideally was hoping it keep it until the finance was done school but things don't always work out.

Hey BrettZ! Welcome to the best Vibe forum in North America! Might be the only one, too. You made a great choice for a car... the Corolla is good... but really has limited usability compared to our Cross Over/ mini UTE/ Wagon version Vibe. And a lot of us are pretty fond of base Silver Vibes. Pictures, soon. Please... or we will be forced to send the genvibe stealth drone to snap some of your car for you! We don't like having to send the drone all the way from genvibe headquarters!
