I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 2009 vibe GT wih the monsoon stereo and the volume knob broke yesterday. i went to the dealership and they want a crazy amount for a factory radio so i want to just upgrade. the problem i am having is nobody makes a wiring harness for the damn thing. i called metra and they said they dont have the harness i need. i dont really care about the onstar but i do want the steering wheel controls. any help is welcome. picures would be awesome part numbers for the harness would be great too.

I'll be taking mine in for warranty repair next week for the exact same thing. Lots of folks here have had the same problem. There's gotta be hundreds, if not thousands of them failing out there.
