Specs for Stock M&T Subwoofer on an 05?

Post by jscherf92 »

I know it gets power from a 200w amp but i do not know if this is rms or peak. I dont expect the sub to handle a ton of power, but im selling my stock sub to a friend and i need to know what amplifier to recommend.so if anyone knows numbers for the RMS wattage, peak wattage, impedance or any other specs, i would greatly appreciate it.

The 200 is going to be Peak watts, most likly that is also counting the amp section that drives all the door speakers and the tweeters. In reality the doors are getting between 7-15 watts and the sub at most is probably seeing 30-35 watts. You cant really get any hard facts from the max numbers as a manufacture can post any number as the max and still be CEA compliant as long as they post actual measurements.
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
