I'm thinking of painting my brake calipers when i get my new rims (if I want to put the effort into it!). The car is dark blue and the windows are tinted so I was thinking of going with black or blue. What's everyone think? Feel free to ad a choice if you want!

I would say blue to match the car. How about Red or Chevy Orange?

To me Black calipers are boring and will make them disappear. Blue will offer some "pop" w/o overdoing it.You might also consider a contrasting color... something like gold? (Just a thought.)

Go with the blue. A few months back I was debating what color to paint my calipers and I went with black. I'm going to redo them in red when I get a few extra minutes. The black is nice but just doesn't do it for me.

Yeah you either wanna color match or cleverly contrast. Or if you want them to just look new you can get high temp Silver and it'll give em a clean look
I was thinking the same - yellow on a blue car if you want them to stand out.

Yellow had crossed my mind too, I was thinkin it might be too much, but I can always change it and I am a Sabres fan! So I think Yellow or Blue, red is everyhere lol.

Just as a point of reference... for color and inspiration...Back when they actually looked REALLY good. They need some work, but too many other things to do, and not enough modivation.

If they were, I would put the OE Mazda wheels on the Vibe since I'm running Kosei's on the 3 these days. Mazda3 wheels are 6.5"x17"x +52.5mm offset- 5x114.3mm (4.5".)Now if I had a modern Honda instead of a Mazda.......

Those look great! I have the abyss (metallic black) color and glossy black spoke rims myself. They feature the chrome outer ring with chrome tuber lugs. I was thinking black but I don't know if that would be too much black or not. Ill be doing my drums as well.

But I must tell you (qualify my statement) that I am not a big fan of black calipers anyway. I would go lighter to help contrast and help to keep them cooler. Black will help hold in the heat. Also, and it is a PITA to use and expensive, but if you don't want to have to repaint them every few months/a year, I would recommend the G2 epoxy paint system. From my own research, Tire Rack is the best and safest place to order it from. Here are my new rotors for the Mazda done in G2:
