The left side of my car is really solid when hitting bumps. However, I have a rattling sound in the front right of the car when hitting some bumps with the right side. It doesn't happen all the time with every bump, but it happens regularly and regardless of speed. It sounds like a loose container being rattled around. The dealer has tried on a few occasions to find this noise and fix it, but they cannot locate it. Regardless, they re-aligned the hood and the passenger door, but to no avail.Has anyone else had this problem as well, and can you let me know what was rattling and how you fixed it? I'm thinking that it's something loose under the dash or perhaps in the door. Please let me know if you can help out at all. CHEERS!
iburgess, i have that same noise,BUT do not know what the hell it is??? but i have an idea that it may be were the clips for the bumper and wheel well molding clip together, causing them to rattle together, because it sounds like a plastic noise, try pounding lightly on right front of your lower bumper and see if you can hear the noise, i did this and i heard the same noise but havent had a chance to have work look at it
Good idea! I'll check that out too. I know when I heard similar noises, it ended up being my front passenger mud flap was a little loose and making some noises. I have also heard of the wiring/harnesses in the door that may cause some rattling.
i found today after checking the pass side wheel well a clip missing to connect the calding and wheel housing molding together so it was rattling against the wheel well of the car, i just installed a new clip, and poof the noise is gone
I have exactly the same dull rattle. Not every bump, but enough to be very annoying. I've looked everywhere, but no luck. Found one insert missing from the wheel well, fixed that, still rattles. Found the catalytic converter heat shield vibrating, fixed that, still rattles. Found a brake line in the engine compartment rattling, fixed that, still rattles. And the list goes on.........Anyone find a solution to this?
If any you have the cheap plastic hubcaps this may also be a source of noise. Mine rattled all the time on large bumps. I have since put custom wheels on my car. No More Rattles. (At least from the front of the car) Hope this helps. Pix Doc

Looks like the vibration rattle I hear is coming from the exhaust system. Grab your tail pipe and move it around. There is a huge amount of travel. The entire system is supported by rubber mounts which give a low pitched rubber to metal squeal when moved. I am going to try and grease all the rubber to metal joints and see if that solves it.
