8? Wow! That means my Vibe (built 05/2002) will also be turning '8' in a few weeks.Unfortunately, today also marks the end of NUMMI.

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

Happy birthday! Now I figured out where the av came from, joat. I owe a lot to the Vibe and this site, I am truly thankful. Sad day that so many jobs are lost at NUMMI and the trickling effect down to the local suppliers whose lifeline was that plant.

Well, I haven't been around the site for 8 years. but I did test drive the first Vibe that came into our local dealer. I knew I wanted a Vibe right away, and it only took me 'til late 2008 to finally get one. I'm glad I did... but it's pretty ironic that NUMMI shuts down on the Vibes #1 fan site's birthday. Happy 8th birthday!!!
