Ive got about 11k miles on my 09 base. Ive got the stock 16" steelies with wheel covers and TPMS. I'm wondering what other OEM wheels will fit my car (corolla, matrix, scion, etc) in case I can find some better rims when I have to replace my tires. Also, will 15" Enkei's work (from discount tire)? Id rather have a bit softer ride and im not big on huge wheels.
the bolt pattern on our base cars (I have an '09 Base Vibe too) is 5x100mm. There's lots of cars that used this bolt pattern. Matrix, Corolla, Cavalier, Sunfire, Sunbird, various Chrysler products... there's lots of OEM wheels to choose from as well as lots of aftermarket ones.I'm currently on the hunt or a new set of rims to replace my steelies with. The issue I'm having is finding a set of aftermarket 16 inchers I likeI'm leaning towards these factory Cavvy rims: tho I'd rather have these:
1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS 305/5-speed, Bright Dark Teal
2009 Pontiac Vibe Base 1.8L/5-speed, Carbon Grey

The bolt pattern is the same as the '03-'08 Vibes so you can look at those wheels too. Check your local Craigslist and local tire shops. I picked up some wheels on Craigslist for $50.

No, the Malibu's rims won't work, the bolt pattern for the 02 is 5x115mm. I believe 16" wheels are the smallest you can go on the Vibe in order to have enough clearance for the brake callipers
