Driver headrest on 2009 Vibe

Post by ParknVibe »

I have an issue with the headrest not staying in the lock down postion on top of the seat. After some time I will see that the headrest raised up a few inches. I assumed it is happening due to the rough ride the car is under. The push button lock is very easy to overcome. I can easily lift and push down the headrest without pressing the button. Any ideas to how to fix it?

Mine always come up just a tad... I know that they are active head rest.. so maybe when you get in and out a few times it causes them to raise..? Thats the only ting I can figure with mine.

I think the button cam has a weak spring behind it. I will look into it further. I just never took the head completely off yet.
