Interesting...Quote, originally posted by Herb »However I was told that the GM branded injector cleaner is just a re-labeled bottle but for more than twice the price of TechronI had decent results so far with STP on my Grand Prix and Vibe, now I'm using Pennzoil since I go there for oil change with pretty much the same results I'd say.For my car fifth birthday, I might go for a Terraclean. http://www.terraclean.net/home.html

Quote, originally posted by ab2cmiller »How did you get the 20oz bottles for that price?um...bought 5 12oz and got 5 "12oz" bottles free i guess the guy didn't look to closely at which bottles he was putting in the bag
...obviously, an accounting error--on account of the attendant guy not paying attention....another vote for Techron, but does anybody remember the name of the stuff that Andy Granatelli's STP used to sell?
...and the Devil said: "...yes, but it's a DRY heat!"

I've always used LUCAS fuel products, in the past, and recently bought fuel system cleaner for my 2004 AWD Vibe...recently purchased...and can report VERY good results, used in combination with cleaning my MAF sensor (10 min. job)...was VERY dirty...before that, this "winter gas" and sloppy driving gave me the blues...better mileage and more responsive idling, etc. since the cleaner, MAF, etc...also switched to "pure gas"...no ethanol...go to http://www.pure-gas.org to locate a dealer in your state...there are very few dealers out there...but, it does seem to make a difference...a noticable one!
+1 for the lucas! the larger containers are WAY cheaper so i keep a big one in the house and refill and keep the single use bottle in the center console.
