Navigation system - Icons of points of interest, dvd version

Hey guys.When im driving around I see american flag icons and sometimes other country icons on the road, do you know what they are?Also is there a legend somewhere that tells you what each icon represents? cant seem to find it in the supplement.What year is your dvd version? My dvd says its for 2001. Anyone know if there is a more updated version out? Ill check with my parts guy if you guys dont have an answer.Thanks
