Trailer Harness Wiring

Post by tonyn1 »

I have an 09 AWD model Vibe. Is there any wiring installed for a trailer or will I have to splice into the existing wiring?

The ones I have used have a plug in device that connects to each of the car's tail light connectors. It is a pretty easy thing to do and does not require any cutting or splicing of wires. I don't know whether the 09 Vibe has a preconfigured connection or not, but I doubt it. I just ordered one for my 05 Vibe and I think it cost about $50.00. I have seen them for half that price for other vehicles and I don't know why the one for the Vibe is that much.

http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=40016 Nice people to deal with & a cheap price. You'll have to scroll down a bit for the wiring harness offer.
