Moving across the country, any experiences?

I am potentially moving within the next 6 weeks to the Southwest and want to know of anyone's horror stories and successes so that I can better prepare myself. Also did you drive and what did you pack in your Vibe and did you use a roof top cargo carrier and did you like it?

Quite simply..... Moving sucks, be it next door, across town, across State or across the Nation!The only upside is you get rid of more stuff if the move is far enough.Rent a truck, just tow or drive your Vibe.Dave
