CAI & CEL?'s

Post by Daren »

Just installed an AEM CAI and have a CEL so I went through to make sure all the vaccuum line are connected (correctly I hope) and reset the CEL. I still seem to have the light on and am wondering if I missed something or routed the lines wrong. Could it be that I damaged the MAF sensor? How can I test it without replacing it? A bit wordy but thought I would explain it all. Thanks,Daren

If the MAF sensor is fried, you won't be able to rev past 3000 rpms. Can you post a pic of the vacuum lines?

I'm not sure what those initials stand for? If you can clarify that, then I can answer your question. Daren

I was able to get the codes and they were both pointing towards the evap system. It almost seems like I missed a connection somewhere. I guess I'll pull the big tube out of the way and see if there is an exposed port somewhere and figure that part out later.
