Tein s. tech lowering springs

Post by sikvibe »

My Tein springs should arrive any minute now and I will be doing a full write up of the install and test drive of them..here are the specs:Part number SKL06-AUB00 for 03+ PONTIAC VIBE Spring Rate: 146/191 lbs/in Drop: 2/2 inchesI spent a little bit more than I would have on a few other brands, but they are guranteed not to sag more than 5mm. I think that in it self is worth the extra $75 I had to shell out compared to the other brands. I had a set of two inch drop sps springs on a saturn some years ago, so I will be using that experience as my baseline. Those springs imo made my car handle like a porsche, but in the long run they did end up sagging/ settling almost a 1/2 inch. They were also a pretty comfortable ride, which now in my older age, is gettting much more important

Just finished post install pics on my flickr account http://www.flickr.com/photos/4...38088/This car handles like a dream with this spring tire combination with out sacrificing ride quality one bit. I highly recomend this set up to the daily drivers and tuners alike..most bang for your buck..enjoy, I know I am!

Yes sir, it's not so much of a dog now that I've got the supercharger boosting me around town ;0) The springs really help the tires stay stuck to the ground..amazing
