Hello from the frozen north!

Post by RheeandMatt »

Well, maybe not so frozen today...we had sunshine It has actually thawed out enough to make my cute new Vibe muddy! We just bought a 2009 1.8 FWD Frosty White Vibe with 36,000mi - and I love it! I was a bit sad to see my old manual transmission go (fun to drive, easy to control speed etc.. in snow and ice, hills), and then I tried out cruise control. Hello auto transmission! After reading the 400,000 mile post I am setting my sights high, and plan on having fun in this little car while I get there ~Rhee~ Way up north in Downeast Maine

Thanks! We are near Bar Harbor hskater26, a couple of hours north east of there (so much closer if we could just take a boat, without traffic we can be there in 1 & 1/2). It takes me a lot less time to go to Canada (about 45 mins from the border), and I love Saint Andrews, NB. it's really beautiful.

Welcome, from Old Orchard Beach 49 degrees today and we're having our Winter Carnival..they had to truck in snow. We had "dog sled" races on the beach using plastic sleds and people as the dogs...very fun. I just moved to Maine in Sept. What a well kept secret this place is!
