Our 05 Vibe has the original RSAs that I will replace this spring. It isnt as bad as you might think as we use dedicated winter tires for about 6 months of the year. I guess I am wondering what quality all seasons tires are genvibers buying these days.
I put on General Altimax HP at the beginning of the year and love them. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...ax+HP I know a few others have put these on too.

There is only one tire to buy: Michelin Primacy MXV4's. They plow through snow and are the best rated tire on tire rack. Don't waste your money on anything else. I have the Michelin Exalto's on my '03 Vibe, and the Primacy tires on my '09 Vibe are even better than the Exaltos. And if the ratings are accurate, they will easily outlast the Generals in the long run.
I compared the Michelin Primacy's vs General Altimax HP. Although the Michelins have an extra 5,000 mile warranty, and might last longer, the Generals are $50 cheaper/tire. IMO, the $200 saved by buying the Generals will pay for half of the next set. Tirerack reviews have rated these tires almost equal to each other.

And of course they are expensive to buy.The Generals have gotten pretty good overall reviews to.I would like to suggest a third option for you to look into: I recently replaced the RS-A's and Vivas on my wife's Vibe w/Continental ExtremeContact DWS series tires, and here is what I know about them already.1) Great customer reviews, though as a new series there are few of them2) Reasonable cost (I paid $85 ea for 205/55-16's before mounting and balancing.)3) High wear rating (540, I think?)4) Stick like glue even in the rain.5) They do ride a little hard especially in the dry, but I have not had a chance to experiment w/pressures either.I'm happy w/them so far and am considering a set for my Mazda3 5-dr.Check them out.... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...t+DWS

I do disagree about Michelin's getting noisy as they age. That category is clearly won by GoodYear.Michelin Pri MXV4 1 100% 8.2 8.6 8.6 8.7 9.1 8.7 7.9 7.1 7.3 9.1 8.9 9.0 General Altimax 2 97% 8.4 8.8 8.8 8.5 9.0 8.6 7.7 6.9 6.8 8.8 8.6 8.4 The last number 9.0 vs 8.4 (mileage) is a bit of a seperation, as is the driving on ice # (7.3 vs 6.8). Again, we'll have to compare notes down the road. I was able to sell my RSA's for $100, offsetting the price a bit, and getting $70 back from Costco, so I think I got a steal on the Michelins.
