Colored Lights

Post by Atkinss »

Hey guys, first post on here for me! I have been to this site a couple times roaming around but never really had an account.. I am in need of you fellow vibe owners help. I have a Midnight Black with metalllic chips 2006 1.8L base Vibe, I am trying to find green lights for my front and rear signals.. as well as dash(speedo, gas, temp, etc) not worried about my radio just yet. I know i've seen people just pull out their dash and color the white speedo the color they want to see. But it to be proper, not cheap out( no offense if anyone went that route). But if you guys can help me out that is greatly appreciated! I already have my Green LED's under both driver and passenger dash, driver and passenger seat so it illuminates the back floor and as well as one on each side of the hatch so it illuminates the floor there I want it black and green cause they are two colors that fit so well

For the rear signals, you will not be able to put a green bulb or LED in there due to the amber lens. The amber lens will effect the color and you will not like the outcome. For the front signals, Super Bright LEDs, HOWEVER you need to check local laws before putting a forward facing green light in the Vibe. Most likely it's not legal and you could probably get hit hard by the law with that color.FOr the gauge cluaster, check the link out in my sig. It's time consuming but you will definately like the outcome. I would recommend Oznium for the LEDs used to change your gauges. The link will point you directly to the ones you need. Not sure what exact you are considering "cheap" bc I only spend probably $20 for all of my LED's (not just from there I shopped a few other places too) but believe me, it does not give a cheap look. I've still got to update that thread as well as the pics bc I put the diffuser back in and it made a world of difference in not leaving any hot spots as you will be able to see in the pics. Also check out these Dome Lights. Get the 2x2 square for the mid and rear domes and you'll be set. If you already have a green buld or LED in there right now, TRUST me, these will blow it out of the water!!Hope this has been helpful to you and if you have any questions on the gauge cluster, just let me know. And remember, swapping out the LEDs in the cluster is definately not considered cheap;)
