First CEL... P0420, P0300, P0301, P0304...

Hi all, Ran into my first CEL on my 2003 base Vibe last night... good run, but I guess it had to happen sooner or later - I do have 125k on it.Anyway, I got the following:P0420 - Catalyst Below Eff Thresh Bank 1P0300 - Random mutiple misfiresP0301 - Cyl 1 misfireP0304 - Cyl 4 misfireI've searched on those codes a bit & it seems like the 03's can be a variety of things - side effects from the cat problem, loose hoses, maf, injectors, etc.I'm going to start by running a bottle of techtron cleaner through it to see if it's the injectors. I don't think its the plugs since I just replaced those 5 months ago.Anyway, just looking for tips & mainly wanted to make sure that this is something that I can gimp along with for a month or so without getting stranded somewhere - until we come out of the blizzards we've been having around here & it warms up a bit.Don't know if this might effect it or not, but my drivers side firewall liner got ripped off a few weeks ago by a coyote spinning around my front tire so I might be getting gunk sprayed up into that side of the engine compartment right now... also I've been parking it outside a lot in very cold temps - got to leaving it down at the bottom of my very steep drive with all the snow we've been having.Thanks!

You should be fine for a little while. The misfire codes are a little misleading since they don't tell you when the misfire happened. It could have misfired 2 years ago and now that the catalyst code came up it also brought up the others.

Good to know - didn't think about it that way. I did clear them so I'll keep an eye on whether or not it logs those codes again or not.
