firefox user's

what add on's/extensions are you running and why?me:adblock you can hide all those stupid adds that keep annoying you. For instance I have the google adds on here blocked.ai roboform best way to remember all those passwords and to auto fill shipping info when you buy some thing online. avg safe search protects you from the naughty web pages that are just there to do damage to your system.download helper best way to grab short video's (i'm not responsible for users who decide to down load illegal movies with said program)fastest fox by far the best MUST have addon, it will load the next page on search engines like google even before you click on the next pageIE tab for those stupid people who still code their pages to only work in Internet explorer I have a few others but I will let others chime in with add on's that I haven't listed and think that other users would benefit from.

Firebug: for looking at the source code of a page, great for web developers.Personas: to give it a skin and make it look pretty. My husband uses download helper.Other than that I haven't really customized much.

I can't install no extensions at work, I don't have rights. But I do run Portable Firefox off a flash drive so I can.IEtab is handy for work since I have to use Windows and often need to use sites that are coded to reject any other browsers. Another one I like is Speed Dial, add frequently visited pages and a quick ctrl+some number will instantly load that page. Opera has been doing this for a while, that's where I discovered (and subsequently got addicted to) that feature. Firefox needs this standard!I tend to shy away from firefox at home, only use it if i have to. Firefox has always felt overweight and clunky, it needs to go on a diet... Doesn't agree very well with my 5 year old Mac mini nor my 633 mhz Linux netbook. Opera works best for me on this ancient hardware.

I have FF 3.0 on this computer but hardly ever use it. v1.5 was the best for me on my old PIII.Everything after has been a challenge and not as user friendly as far as I'm concerned. I even downloaded v2.0 on that machine, or perhaps v2.5, I don't rightly remember now, but reversed it back to v1.5.I have become disenchanted w/the browser and gone back to using IE most of the time.

I use NoScript. It allows JavaScript and other executable content to run only from trusted domains that you can choose as well as stops click jacking. It adds a small amount of time to browsing at first, but works great.

I put on autopager, instead of having to keep clicking on page after page after page (such as a google listing or multipage document like an on line shop) it just keeps loading the next page immediately as you come to the end of the first.I really like it, I don't have it at work and really miss it!http://www.teesoft.info/content/view/68/1/Dave
