Have you Seafoamed Your Car Lately?

So I haven't Seafoamed the Vibe yet... at 17,000 miles doesn't really need it... but my 126,000+ mile Trans AM sure needed it... what a difference, I recommend to every high mileage car. About $10 a can, I got two cans of Seafoam and one of the Deep Creep...This stuff is amazing, I could see it cleaning my throttle body as I was spraying it on... and when I was done, I could feel and hear the difference. I've been wanting to do this to the Vibe. I bought a can for my Golf but it's too disassembled to worry about at the moment so I might as well try it. Could someone give me some pointers on the best way to Seafoam a 1st gen Vibe? The rule of thumb in VW world is 1/3 can in the oil (to be run for a few hundred miles prior to oil change), 1/3 in a full tank of gas and 1/3 sucked into the air intake before the TB. Run at 2000-3000 rpms for a bit. Done.Would it be roughly the same on the Vibe?

I see the local farm store has it on sale for $6... That's the cheapest I've seen it in a store.So, you can use this stuff as fuel stabilizer? May come in handy for the gas I have to keep around for the generator. Thought about throwing some of it in the Accent's fuel tank. Not sure I want to commit to a full blown engine treatment with it though...

Just did my 98 Ram pickup this morning and then the Vibe this afternoon. Didn't do the crankcase on the Vibe yet since I just had the oil changed not too long ago. I'll wait till it's almost due and then pour the 6oz I have left in there, but I don't want to drive more than 100 miles or so once it's in the oil. I used the how to in the previous post and it was pretty simple and straight forward. It caused the Vibe to throw a CEL, but I had Advance Auto Parts clear it for me. Had a big scare when I was spraying the throttle body with Deep Creep, the red spray nozzle disappeared on me. I was worried that I'd shot it into the intake manifold or something, couldn't find it anywhere, and I was trying to shine a flashlight into the throttle body to try and see it. After I moved the car I found it on the floor of the garage, big sigh of relief.The brake booster vacuum line was easy to get to and easy to get off, and the whole process too less than an hour, including taking it for a ride to blow all the gunk out. But be ready for big clouds of smoke when you start it up after the top-end cleaning.
