Look the exhaust manifold is easily accessible and lots of room for a turbo!

The biggest problem I have with a turbo is that I don't really know enough about them. I want to do pretty well all the work on this car myself (I don't trust most shops to torque the wheels properly), so then the problem becomes how can I install a turbo myself? I mean, the parts would bolt on for the most part, a little fabricating and connecting the exhaust, but then someone would have to tune the ECU, etc, etc... I don't know of any shops within 400 km that would be capable of doing that, much less that I would trust. So I'm not convinced that a turbo, kit or otherwise, is the way to go...Anyway, here is an update with my second "mod", taken by my iPhone:
