Alarm?

Hello,I recently purchased a low millage 2005 Pontiac Vibe. I don't think the alarm works, or maybe there's not an alarm. The owner's manual that came with it says there is, but when I test it according to the instructions in the manual, it doesn't go off. There's a blinking red light near the radio when I lock the car.Can someone please give me some guidance?Thanks,D

no alarm. the red blinking light is just a fake. there to make people think you have an alarm.

i have an alarm. and also he blinking red light lol. one way to def find out is see if you have a little button down near where your left foot goes. that shut it off and turns it on , i believe its called a valet switch
