Ski Jumping

Post by midnighthunder89 »

This past weekend was the Ski jump Comp in Iron mountain MI. It is the only ski jumping of its size in the US. If anyone is near here you should definitely worth it. Two days of jumping, lots of people, and a good amount of beverage consumption make for a good time.

I was thinking the same thing they are going a long way and if they used the suits i think they would run out of room. the longest jump was like 474feet.

When you watch this on tv it doesn't come close to giving it an accurate view of how big and steep these things are. I've been fortunate enough to see a competition at the Olympic Park in Park City, UT. Definitely worth checking out.
