Hi everybody ! Its great to join this board and tell you about my new (almost) Vibe. I`ve already learned tons of useful things from all of you! This one is a used 2009 that I bought with less than 10k miles on it. As you can tell from my login, it is an AWD vibe, and it has the alloy wheels and preferred option package. It replaces my 1995 AWD (turbo) Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX... Gotta say that the Vibe is not as fun to drive as the GSX was, BUT it is way more practical, has 2 more doors, is a lot younger, and so all of its systems work right ! I do have to say the Vibe`s ability to carve corners and lack of body lean is pretty impressive, though! No turbo lag!!To stave off the angry mobs, here are some photos taken of the car near my home in Niwot, Colorado. So far, no problems with Unintended Sudden Acceleration. Next mods, install the ham radio HF and VHF radios. And maybe better speakers. I visited my brother today in California ..and he too recently purchased a used 2003 Vibe 2 months ago. Cheers,Dave
Hi Barrett ..Thanks! Yes, I noticed your car`s picture when you posted it, and thought, `Wow, that looks like Colorado`. Your Vibe looks a lot like my brothers only his is the Salsa color. Sounds like you made a great find! Cheers, Dave
Welcome! You got kind of a rarely optioned vehicle there - that's the first AWD I've seen with those wheels. Usually they come with the chrome-clad wheels.
