depends on what else is not visible, but when I hit a deer, they had to replace all that I see wrong in yours except the hood, and it was under $4K, so maybe it won't be totalled.sucks man, glad you're ok though
hmmm my MS3 accident was sorta similar maybe more though and it was totaled, 14k damage :s Your's may be like 6-7 for front replacement if its not toooo bad.
i am kind of sad that it will be totaled, though it was my fault anyways, i will miss it. but here is a replacement that i am looking at: Autotrader.com 2004 Vibe GT Salsa $5,995

I have lava and love it, but looks like that one was repainted, not that that's a bad thing... but notice the emblems are gone from the doors and i assume the rear hatch... still tho...looks like a great paint job.. Heck mine needs one so I would be thrilled to have one with new paint! And I dont care for emblems, had them left off when my stealth TT was painted.. .good luck, I would jump on that deal if indeed you have lost your other...
nope, i was supposed to install them that saturday, but i do hope i get everything sorted out soon.yea it is the Lava color, the salsa was the "maroon".
Noooo!!I hope it can be fixed, I would hate to lose a member of team NeptuneGlad to hear you're OK though that's the main thing.

Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »now what do yall think about a Blue Oval, SVT style?Ford seems to have really turned the page, they are getting really good reviews on quality now. A lot of old perceptions are hard to shake, such as "Toyota quality" so you might still run into some Ford haters.Doesn't matter waht you end up buying, you'll always be a genviber

I don't know.... those years of Focus, never really liked them. Ever thought of a 4.0L Ranger? Not interested in buying a new vehicle or just trying to stay away from monthly payments?
My son had a couple of Focus. The first one was fairly rare S2 in dark silver. I really liked that car. The suspenssion was very good and the ride exceptional. Not a rocket, but good enough. S2 seats were very Recaro like... excellent compared to the normal Focus seat. MPG was around 30-32 if driven sensibly and in the mid to upper 20s at more enthusiastic levels. He added a nice set of Nitto Extreme tires on Dark silver multi spoke alloys , the Euro HID lights, front bumper and the lower pieces... air dam... sides and left the rear stock. After it was all finished, I wanted that car. Then about a year later, he let a friend take it for a "test" drive... went Porsche style off the road in a curve... into a small tree grove and trashed it. No one hurt, but a costly lesson learned. Very sad for me.The Vibe is more economical in the long run, and way more usable than a Focus. The SVT was a hot little car, but it had its problems. Hope your car wasn't totaled and glad no one was hurt. I'm sure feelings were. I know I would really hate to lose my Vibe, so I can imagine how you're feeling right now. Keep looking, I've see a couple of very clean first gen Vibes for sale in lots. There's a dark red Vibe with unpainted cladding in Oxford, Maine and a brighter red monotone just down the road about a quarter mile. Sorry, I don't know the nuances of the Red Vibe colors or which name goes with them. Good luck... and quit that bump draftin' nascar style thing!

Nascar, rock the Ford. My "Blue Oval" has 213,000 ROUGH miles on it and just became my daily driver. In the 7 years that my family has owned the truck, it has required nothing more than maintenance parts (fuel pump once, fuel filters, oil changes, a new ignition module, a couple of batteries one of which was MY fault, and a starter). When it was -30F here a couple of weeks ago, I went out to my truck and cranked it. It turned slow and even, fired one cylinder, then two, then 4 and then all six roared to life and it was good to go. No block heater, no anything. Just a truck sitting out in the cold. My wife's 'Trix did not fair so well. It wouldn't start again until it got back above 0F (I really need to get her a new battery). So anyone can say what they want about Ford, but I'll look at that tired old POS in my driveway that starts and runs every day and think that they've definitely done something right!
If your Vibe is totaled, you could always buy it back and repair it for cheap if it is all body damage. I've done that a couple times now getting parts from Certifit and then just having the car repainted. You can usually end up making money on the ordeal as they give you more for the totaled vehicle than you do buying the parts and painting the car. There is one in San Antonio as well.
