I suspect it is extremely difficult to make something with zero chance of injury under any and all circumstances. Looking at the price of infant items I suspect 50% of the cost is for recalls, lawsuits etc.. I an 67 - I am sure these things were a lot more hazardous when our kids were small but there was not nearly as much oversight and reporting then.

I realize that some things are made over seas to American design specs but it seems that almost every time there is a major trouble with an item, these words, that I quote from this article, appear...."The strollers were made in China ......"Dave

Got it home - noticed that thecarton said "made in China".
