2009 Vibe Passenger Air Bag Seat Belt display

Since my wife gets to drive the Vibe more than I do I only get to notice things on the weekends. Anyway drove it today and noticed that unlike my G6 GT, the Passenger Airbag light OFF isn't on. The ON light does turn on when someone is sitting in the seat. Is this right?

Yep. That's right. When no one is sitting there, nothing lights up. When someone is sitting there it says "AIR BAG ON" and when someone is sitting there and than gets out of the car it will say "AIR BAG OFF" for a couple seconds and than goes back to nothing.

Also if someone is under a certain weight it will light up as saying the airbag off.
