GRAPHITE INTERIOR

Post by HORSESCO »

Since I am fairly new to vibe ownership, (2004 base with montone ext) when I was looking for one, several had stained seats but they were all the light gray (slate?) interior. The one I finally settled on was Lava ext and graphite interior.. the seats are great.. no stains...(have lots of nics and scratches on the ext but oh well)... is that a unique find... to have seats that are not stained or does having the darker int really help that much? I know in my 05 mazda 3 i had camel cloth int and it stained waaay to easily.. Any thoughts?

You have the same color combo as I do. A fine choice. How does that help you? It doesn't, but you obvioysly have good taste. We still haven't seen a picture...hint, hint.

Much better. Cute pup. What beautiful countryside. I would love to hike in the Rockies. If my job wasn't tied to the Navy, I'd move ther in a minute. There aren't any Navy bases in Colorado?

It's incredible country out there in Colorado. I almost got the lighter interior, but decided to go with the graphite... figured it would be easier to keep clean. Both colors use the same seat materials, so if one stains, the other will too. The dark cloth will probably hide it better. If you transport any critters in the car, you should use some kind of seat cover to keep accidents or spills from getting on the seat. I saw some Cabelas covers for pets that fit over the back seat... and I'm sure others make similar products. If you do get something on the seat, make sure you use a reputable seat cleaning product as soon as you can so it doesn't set up as a stain.
