GrafxWerks, how long have yours lasted?

Post by jkm311 »

My steering wheel overlay, in addition to my Pontiac badge overlay on the tailgate are starting to curl. I have had the non-reflective, white variety on for about 10 months. The overlay on the front grille, and my interior door lock overlays have remained perfectly adhered, however.Curious to see, whose overlays have made it the longest?

i've had mine for about 2 years and had them peel after 8-9 months. i bought some crazy glue and fixed the curling. I'm going to have to fix the vibe overlays again in the summer or I might just debadge.

Funny you should say that, Bull. I have considered getting rid of the badging on the tailgate, too. I removed the "Vibes" on the doors last year. Might take care of the tailgate overlay problem, seeing that my front grille is still looking good!

I had one of the interior door pieces curl on me shortly after they were put on. Took about 6 months for one of the side Vibes to start curling before I debadged everything. Like you said though, my front arrowhead is still holding up strong and it's got the reflective border.

All of mine are the charcoal reflective overlays on the "Vibe" on the sides and on the rear. I have Arrow overlays on the front and rear as well as the interior. I have flame overlays on both sides and above the tailpipe. I have the "Pontiac" overlay on the rear I installed all these on 3/26/05. There are a couple edges flaked off on the "Vibe" on the driver's side but nothing noticeable until you are up close. Otherwise they are in great shape and that is with going thru hundreds of power washings, brutal winters as low as -30F, and hot summers as high as +102F.

Mine have been on my car for at least 5 years, and all are fine. No peeling at all. We did make sure we pressed them on REALLY good when we applied them though.
