Diablo Body kit?

Post by bigdaddyjosh »

I was researching a body kit for the 09Vibe last night and was wondering if the Diablo body kit for 09 Toyota Matrix would bolt right on? Also, I wanted to add the rksport dual hood scoop. I think the combination would add a good sweet look to the car.

Only the Wing and the skirts will fit. The Vibe has different front and rear fascias then the Matrix.

I don't even think the wing and the skirts will fit. All the sheet metal on the Matrix is completely different. The attachment points for the OE wings are totally different between the Vibe and Matrix as are the wheel opening dimentions and body lines.

The Diablo kit looks good on the Matrix. The wing attachment points might have to be massaged a little to fit the Vibe. The side skirts should be the same length as the Vibe's. but the upper part may not fit the body contours very well. I would take your Vibe to a Toyota dealer and compare the lower Matrix parts of the body, between the wheel wells to see if they are somewhat similar. The kits are somtimes flexible enough to fit small countour differences. And sometimes if you have a good body shop close by, they could fit the part to your Vibe.Front and rear facias wouldn't fit. Too different. Let us know if you get any of this done... and post a picture.
