Rear Top Wing Spoiler

Post by SuPeRioN81 »

Here's a picture of my car just hours after getting the top wing spoiler put on. I'll get a better picture later, but this is the only one I could do in the mean time.

The list price for this spoiler here in California was like 421 - 496 so I had to search around. My brother works for NUMMI so I found a dealership that would honor his employee discount the best so I ended up getting it for about 300. Then I paid about 100 dollars to get it painted and put on... the guys at the workshop said they'd put it on for free. I thought there would be a problem taking and puting back on the roof rack cross bars but I found out that it can be done so now the racks are off. I'll take more pics and post them later today.

looks really good in that color. Is that Salsa or Lava? I can't tell from the shade. I'm putting my 2 rear spoilers on today. I'll post a pic once they're finished.

I paid $550 including shipping for the spoilers. They were already painted Satellite. It will cost about $100-120 to install them. I may just do it myself though. I don't have a drill, and may end up just buying one anyway.

Looks great! Did you get both or just the top one? I think I want just the top one, but I'm not sure.I wish they came in Lava so I wouldn't have to spend more to get it painted.

I only got the top one... I only could afford one so I picked that one over the mid spoiler. I don't think I am going to get the mid... prolly just gonna lower my vibe.

I think I may like it without the mid spoiler. I'm still debating on installing the mid on mine. I think I like yours with just the top. I'll wait to see more pics of yours in the day light. Can't wait to see them!

Ebay. Guy bought a satellite Vibe from a dealership in NY. He didn't want the spoilers and told them to sell them on Ebay and give him the money back.

I think I'm going to get some ground control coil overs so i can adjust mine in the winter when it snows here. I have to put snow tires on anyways, so it won't matter if the wheels come off or not. still love that Salsa color.

yes, there's another thread on coilovers in suspension/brakes. i've seen them for about $400 not including the shocks. TRD has a set of four complete w/ everything for $1200. ouch! There's a place on ebay selling a set of ground controls for about $365 i think. here's the site someone else posted from a different thread http://www.ground-control.com/

Did you want to go bigger than your factory 17's? I just got my new wheels and I think they look nice. They're 18 inch Falken Tourque 5's in gunmetal. Sorry, no pictures yet, but I will have them soon. Definitely look around until you find the style that you like.

I like the factory 17's so I don't have to get a whole set of new tires. I want some nice wheels, but I've tapped myself a little short. Come winter, I have to get 4 studded tires and that'll cost some money.
