What are the biggest subwwofers put in a Vibe and how did they sound? What brand, size, etc. Thinking of some 15's but don't want the box to come over the back seat or rear window.

You should have no problem getting 2 15s in there in a ported enclosure. based off dimensions of 32width 22 length and 14 height you would have 5.7ft3. Once you build an enclosure based off the same dimensions you would be at 4.52ft3. using a Digital Designs 1515 sub as base they would occupy .1111ft3 ea taking up a total of .2222ft3 shrinking enclosure size to 4.29ft3. After port displacement and bracing you would be looking at a net volume somewhere between 3.75-4 ft3 meaning you would need a 15" driver that would work well in 1.75 ported to do 2 woofers. you could gain some cubic ft if you removed the spare tire and used the well as part of the enclosure cavity as well. How it sounds will be objective, if it were me and I wanted 15"s given those dimensions, I would do a single 15" or dual 12"s, but I like bigger enclosures when ported because you will have less of a freq spike when it hits the magic tuning point.Hope it helps Aron
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
I've got a 10" slim Fosgate stuffed inside the tub above the spare tire. It took a little fabrication and work, but I have all of my cargo area unmolested, the sub cannot be seen from outside (or inside) the car and the spare tire is still there in case I need it.

Not the biggest, but ardueable one of the best... Critical Mass UL12.................. and yeah, that's my backyard.. lol... I might sell it if interested... the price might come as a bit of a shock though...
UMMMMMMM Welcome back. I would be all over that if the wife and I weren't saving to buy a new house; Or better yet I can take a second mortgage out on my current house.

It actually sounds much better than I expected, but it's still not as good a sound as if you have a proper enclosure.
