I REALLY needed this right now! "Considering all the vehicles out there, you chose to drive one of ours. That kind of trust means everything. And especially now that our Pontiac brand is being phased out, we want you to know: We're still here for you and remain committed to taking personal care of you and your Pontiac. To demonstrate this commitment, together with your dealer, we're offering you up to a full year of preventative maintenance for your vehicle. Just bring in the certificate below, and you'll receive a complimentary lube-oil-filter, tire rotation and 27-point vehicle inspection. Use your certificate for up to four visits through December 31, 2010. That's right-we're covering these standard maintenance services for up to a full year!..."I wonder if my mom got one for Frosty too!
This is awesome because when I leased my G6 GT Convert I got $9.95 Oil Changes for life from the Dealer, but to my dismay, when I got the 09 Vibe GT from the same dealer and took it in for an Oil Change I was told, at the cashier no less, that the Vibe oil change was going to be $29.95... (removed)! I guess my Vibe will get Dealer Service in 2010 afterall.
Nice! I only got a letter from GM offering a $1000 loyalty rebate to buy another car.....I don't think so!! I'd go back to the dealer for free oil changes, then I can laugh at all the additional scheduled services they say I need when I really don't.
My Fleet:
'15 Ford Fusion AWD Titanium 2.0 Tutbo
'14 Lincoln MXZ AWD 2.0 Turbo
'14 Nissan Pathfinder AWD SL
'05 Pontiac Vibe AWD
I got 2 of those letters and certificates for my '09 GT yesterday. I laughed and ripped them up and put them in the recycling bag because I refuse to let the morons at my local dealer touch my Vibe unless it's absolutely necessary. It's so ridiculously easy and cheap to change the oil myself. It's totally not worth the hassle of taking it to the dealer. Not to mention they would probably give me a hard time about the K&N intake. My dad also got a letter and certificate yesterday for our '94 Pontiac Sunbird LE Sedan. It was purchased brand new just over 16 years ago. It's blatantly obvious that GM will do just about anything to kiss our a**** right now .On a side note, my mom has not received one for her '09 GT (not that it matters because I changer her oil as well). Go figure.

2009 Steel Blue Metallic Vibe GT - 5-Speed Auto – Garage
So does anyone know if these are only going out to 2009 Vibe owners, 2009 Pontiac owners, or all Pontiac Owners? It would be nice if I got one for my 2008 G6 GT Convert. The lease is up in a year so I'd love free service but better yet a nice coupon for extra money off a GMC Terrain would sure be nice.
I know how to change oil, but it's against the set of rules where I live. Cheaper for me to pay for an oil change than get fined from the association. I don't distrust the techs at the dealer, I just don't trust shady detail shops and loser exes

I got one too...but it's for the GSucks I got rid of in September. Nothing for my Vibe (yet?), but then I have 75qts of oil and six filters, so no biggie.
I got one too. Even though I do them myself and spend half the money, it will be nice having someone else do it. =]They are also giving me a 12 point maintenance check? o.O

I think I'll send him a garden hose, car wash mitt and a speedo as a birthday gift.
