ECU -- Toyota or GM?

Anybody know "for sure" if the Engine Control Unit (ECU) computer(s) are same for the Vibe and Matrix?...I understand that Toyota uses an ISO-bus ECU in Japan while GM uses OBDII CAN-bus ECU in USA, so there's a chance they're NOT identical. Is the Japanese-CAN bus the same as the GM-CAN bus?

...just searched the GM Service and Operations website, looking through their OBD-II information, and there's NO LISTING for the 2009-2010 Vibe 1.8L (RPO LAY) engine, which seems to indicate that it's a TOYOTA 'box' and not GM....any "GM Goodwrench" people here who might know for sure?
