Just saw my first Zap car. I almost plowed into a telephone pole as I stared at it. I like the truck and van. I don't think I would buy a car with only one wheel in front. Kinda like flying a plane with one engine if you ask me.http://www.zapworld.com/
Cool!!! If I were to buy one... I'd modify the drivetrain to get 55mph!!! A simple overdrive unit would be all that it takes. But me thinks I'll buy one of these first... http://spyder.brp.com/en-CA/
I would love to have a Spyder... The "bike" for guys like me who are too scared to ride a real bike. But the fuel economy isn't there, only ~30 MPG so it's pointless since I can ride in comfort in my car and get that or better.

Who said toys need to be fuel efficient? Plus the Spyder looks a lot better then any crotch rocket or overweight cruiser IMO...Besides, you can ride it all year round!!! The street legal snowmobile!!!

Unfortunatly Carver went bankrupt last year and only their engineering website seems to be functional. And the T-rex is waaaaay out of my price range. The Spyder is cheaper (although $20K is still too much). The only drawbacks to it is the TC and stability control that can'y be deactivated...(But that's just a fuse puller away) and fuel economy. That being said, I havn't test driven one yet. Maybe in the spring I'll convince the wife to let me go toy shopping...lol
