Hitch Cargo Carriers

Post by donaldj »

HiI have just downsized from a truck to vibe ( 2.4L) 2010. I am interested in finding a Hitch Cargo Carrier? Can someone recommend one. It will be used to carry, a large cooler and a duffle bag when camping.Don

Do you think it worth buying? Any pro or cons to this sort of system?

For me, I'd use a trailer.I pack some of my gear in my tent trailer when going camping. Helps in balancing the weight with the trailer. But the carrier would work well if you're just carrying a few extra things!A big con is that if you have too much on it you won't be able to open the hatch. Not to mention that you have to be a little more carful when you backup!
