I've had my car for like month (only like 5,000 miles) and my front tires have lost so much tread compared to the rear tires. I don't burn out much at all. Is it possible to lose some tire tread from redlining first and second gear a lot? When the weight transfers from the front to the rear and the front lifts a little, could that cause more loss of rubber? I have Falken Ziex's right now.thanks
a) Stock tires on new cars are usually crap.b) The front tires are the drive tires. So Yes, they'll wear faster.c) It's slightly possible you need an alignment. Wheels not alighned will devour tires.d) You've been squeeling those tires, haven't you! That black streak on the pavement is your tread. From the above you may pick any one or more options, whichever relate to your driving style.KSNeptune
