Cute!I agree with ou.grizz. Have your friend take her to an ophthalmologist. Lazy eye is correctable and much easier and better results when they are younger.

It is more common in premature births; do not know if she was a preemie or not. If an eye patch does not work, then surgery is done to correct. Also, it is an excellent idea to get it done at the earliest possible as it can cause developmental issues; i.e. learning + coordination which is very important at that age.

i did talk to my friend about this and she says she had taken her for checkup a while back...not sure the details but she says she's been better now. when i saw her in person i didn't really notice any lazy eye...but this picture was taken a while back i think...i just copied it from her facebook page.
