I was driving the other night and thought I saw a Vibe. From the front it looks identical. Then as I passed it I noticed that is was a lot shorter. I wasn't able to see the emblem. Just curious to what it was--anyone?

I just looked it up and it doesn't get any better gas mileage than the Vibe. What's the point of it? Price range is cheaper so maybe it was meant to pull in a different segment of buyers.

Yeah, I was reading the Transport Canada fuel ratings guide for all production models sold in Canada awhile ago, and that exact comparison jumped out at me and baffled me. Also, while we're on the topic, my g/f's dad, whose pride and joy commuter is a Camry Hybrid, jokingly calls my car a "gas guzzler". I like to jokingly remind him that above 70kms/hr (or so) in the real world, my Vibe is the winner. Am I right? (give me your gut feeling or real world experience, not a manufacturer claim, or link to a government rating agency -- they are BS)

The ones I saw were around $15k, you could've gotten a Vibe for not much more and gotten a much better car.

I would also be suspect of the quality. When I was shopping for a new car I think the dealer told me they are imported from Korea. Other than appearance I don't think they are comparable to the Vibe.
