An early to mid 1960's Air Cooled Volkswagen Convertible Beetle in good shape.Alternative would be a 1960 VW Beetle with a sunroof.(Not available in WalMart!)Dave
I really didn't know what to get this year. So I asked for a NF jacket, some XBox 360 games. Nothing special that was on my want list, I'm pretty content at the moment.
A billion less humans, more polar bears (to keep the human population down), and a snow shovel for the 15-20 inches we are getting tomorrow (yyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)At least I know I'll get one of my three wishes

The beaters, the ones that prey on kids, the animal abusers, the crooks. Oh yeah, and we need more PENGUINS. Lots and lots of penguins.

All I know is my gift to myself was the Autopage RS-625 remote start I had installed on Tuesday: http://www.autopageusa.com/t_i...6d261This thing is aweseome!!! Have I said that already? I have? ok, just checking..... I bought my wife a remote start for X-mas for her Aztek as well...she is going to freak out!!! She has been wanting one for years. I was only able to get it because of the 2 for 1 deal that was being offered.Anything else I get from family is a mystery. I told everyone to surprise me...

Not bad down here Tony. About 14 inches on the ground, with about 6-10 still to come. I took the 09 FWD out for a couple of spins on my new Michelin Primacy MXV4s. WOW are these great tires in the snow. I got $100 for my Eagle GSAs at some fly by night used tire store. I know I could have gotten more given there were only 17,000 miles on them, but I'm just glad I could use the money to offset the price of the Michelins.
Its still comming down here, about a foot or better now,no plows seen yet. Nothing plowed on RT 322/blackhorse pike, acording to my son in law.Wind gusts are high, sometimes 50mph.Im not going anywhere.

ah, 322, running right through my alma mata, Glassboro. Enjoy the snow. The back side is beginning to pinwheel out of West Virginia, so we're expecting possibly 4 more inches tonight. 18 inches and counting. Santa will have to plow his way to our house since Mr. Plow (8^(l) must be out with Barney having a beer at Moe's......doh!! It's been my NJ driving skills, my Pontiac "Corolla" and my Michelins mastering the road all day long.
A GPS and a Radar detector for the car...Otherwise... more freelance work to come in so my husband can take a Glidecam training course in LA in March... that stuff is expensive!

Modest housing is included. You need to have solid skills in buildings and grounds, not theory, know how. You also need a solid skill base in mechanical repairs, both cars and trucks as well as small engines.Any knowledge of commercial pools is a MAJOR plus.It is a building and grounds director as a Day Camp. That means it operates for 8 weeks in the summer. The rest of the time is maintenance and improvements to the property. It's a year round job.Don't know pay but is OK for NJ I'm sure.Nice people, nice place, except for Spring, a laid back job.Dave
Opportunity is knocking. Jersey isn't as bad as TV shows make it out to be.A lot of it is actually quite rural and pretty. A LOT of US history took place here as well.Let me know, take it for a year, rent out your house, go for an adventure!!You might actually like it!Dave

My wife has a great job that pays for our schooling. I would love to get back to the East Coast, just not reasonable and I won't go without my wife and daughter.

Too bad you can't make the trek out lovemyraffe. djkeev is seriously understating one of the best states in the nation: very wealthy; best beaches on the eastern seaboard; easy access to entertainment in two major cities (Philly/NYC); northern suburbs are every bit 1700's New England; recreation on/along Delaware River Water Gap; great diversity with open minded humans; excellent education at all levels; and Jimmy Hoffa buried under the north end of Giant's Stadium. What more can you ask for?? Nonetheless, I hope Santa grants all your wishes, and you are paying plenty of taxes as a result of your new job in 2010. Let's make it happen Santa.
I already received my present! All I wanted was a house that I can raise my family in. I don't think Santa had anything to do with it though...otherwise I wouldn't have to pay monthly for it.I can't wait for tomorrow. I will be throwing a 27lb turkey on the BBQ. I have already cut it into the usual sections and have had it marinating since last night. My immediate family is coming over for dinner/fun tomorrow. We were unable to get together for Thanksgiving so we are making up for it now with a BBQ turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean caserol, candied yams, dressing/stuffing, pumpkin & pecan pies and a few other items I can't remember at the moment. My stomach is growling!!!

Gotta love the Jersey Shore in the summer, great place to relax for a week, we go north of Seaside though, about 15 minutes up from the boardwalk, Lavalette. One thing I thumbs down in Jersey is jug handles. For those that have no idea what I mean, the state has NO U-Turns. I swear you could get arrested for pulling one. The roads are blocked with the Jersey Barriers (ha) and in order to get to your destination you have to drive by it for about 5 miles, get in the right lane, pull off at a jug handle shaped road. Then wait at the light for 15 minutes before you can go and turn left into the other lane. FUN FUN FUN!Jersey also has Creamy Ridge Winery, yum!

I was gonna say weird enough...I want a fish aquarium with a couple neat lookin fish, and I wasn't expecting to anybody else say that, but apparently Star_Deceiver and I are on the same page lol But this is an old thread from last year. I hadn't joined you guys yet 8(
The pink ones are Jelly bean chiclids, the smaller blue and black striped ones are convict chiclids. Apparently they can crossbreed with each other as the 2 fish on the left are a pair and the 2 on the right are a breeding pair. Usually only one of the pairs will have babies and the others will eventually eat them but this time they both are breeding at the same time. The parents take care of the offspring until they get a little bigger. On the rare occasion that they don't get eaten, I take them to the pet shop when they get about 1cm long and sell them. I'd put them in another tank but I already have two tanks (33 and 20 gallon) and the wife wants to downsize to one tank ... so I think I'd suffer a long painful death if I "aquired" a 3rd tank!!!
