Hope anybody out can help me.I have been to the dealer twice for this problem. And it's a weird one.Whenever i'm on a bumpy road and my sunroof is open i get a clicking (vibration) sound for my seatbelt. And the problem occurs even when the safetybelt is not on. The first visit they reset all the moldings. The second visit the dealer changed the seat belt mechanisim. And the problem still persist those anybody now a solution.Thank you in advance Manuel.
What part of the seat belt? up by the height adjuster? or?? I had a clicking noise coming from the adjuster area. There was a clear plastic piece that was part of the height adjustment track that was making the noise.
I have the same problem, although i wear my seatbelt, the pass sidebuckle when not attached or buckled rattles against side pillar causinga annoying noise when going over bumpy roads. i work at a pontiacdealer, i the only this i could suggest since its not a failing partit is just a deisgn thing, is to find a rubber cober to go over buckleso it wont make this noise when hitting bumps, its worked for me, its just like and rubber cover for the tom of your house keys etc.... you can by them in any hardware store about 6 bucks will do the trick, if you need help, just holler
Maybe i expressed my self wrong but i do wear my seat belt. i want back to the dealer and they told me it's a turbulance problem. so i'm thinking of closing with some foam the hole of the door frame near the sun roof
tell them,TURBULANCE THIS!!!!!! thats such a load of crapand i know you where you seatbelt but know one can wear the pass side seatbelt while driving unless your talented
I have a slight clicking noise from the height adjuster area too. It's not an actual clicking, but kind of sounds like seran wrap is bouncing in there or something. But it doesn't occur consistantly, so I usually just turn the radio up louder, which also helps me not hear all the stones hitting me Anyway, I'll probably pull the B-plr off soon and take a look. I'll let ya know what happens.
