I was in Detroit Metro Airport last week when out of the corner of my eye I spotted a GM Collectables store. As I walked towards the store, I was shocked to see a Salsa Vibe GT-R parked inside. In fact, I believe it is the same one that is pictured on this site. Was curious if anyone else had seen this and also if anyone knows how many Vibe GT-Rs exist. It was really cool looking in person.
I assume you mean GXP, since there's no such thing as a GT-R...And I don't know how that could be, since no GXP models have been built, it is simply a concept vehicle at the moment...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

It is in the new northwest terminal, right after you go through the security checkpoint. There are stores lining both sides of the walkway.

I'll be flying out of Metro in a couple weeks though and I'd like to check it out. We'll see I guess. Thanks for the tip
I don't know if this is what you saw, but Yat Ming makes a 1:18th scale diecast model of the 2003 Vibe GT-R in red or yellow. The link below is a site where one can be ordered. http://www.diecastcars.tv/yatming_2003p ... begtr.html

I passed through Metro on Sunday and came back tonight. They have a corvette parked in the store now. I asked the girl working about the vibe and she said she didn't remember one, but remembered a hummer. Anyway, no vibe at Metro, but they did have the diecasts.
There is a Vibe Gt-R in Detroit. It is the concept model that as shown at the Detroit Auto Show this past year. I do have some pics of it and I can try and get them up on the web as soon as I geta day off of work to do so. It stays hear in Detroit and makes rounds to different shows and stuff. GM and Delphi use it to show of what is coming out in the future
