Hey Guys! This is my first post on here (I've been a long time lurker). I did something really stupid and I need your help. My wife drives a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, she blew the door speaker in the front passenger speaker. I ordered some replacements from Crutchfield and installed them this past weekend. After replacing them they sounded pretty good, but I noticed that the Factory Installed Remote Door Locks failed to work as did the internal door locks, and when you open the doors the overhead dome light does not come on (The door ajar light works so I know the sensor is good there.)I pulled the fuse box and realized that the fuse was blown. I replaced it thinking that was it but nope, blew the fuse again. I pulled the door panels apart again and found that in the process of drilling out the rivets to remove the speaker I had tagged the wiring harness on the passenger side. (Red Wire) which should be the power to the door locks. I removed the screw making contact with it and patched it up, but still the same thing is happening. I'm thinking its either a burned door switch on the passenger or driver side, or it's a blown BCM. I suspect BCM because the door ajar sensor works just fine but the dome light doesn't come on.Has anyone replaced one of these? If so where is it and how do I access it? I've looked at them on Ebay and I know you are suppose to verify you're ordering the correct one but what do I need to verify?Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my wifes car!ThanksMike
