Silly rebadging project - Evil

Post by Thunderscreech »

Going over the list of changes, I decided to start with something silly. I pulled the 'vibe' badges off from the side, cleaned the area, then cut a little something off the end of the 'vib' piece to make the last letter a lower case L instead. I sanded it down, then painted it silver with a paint pen and siliconed it back onto the car. Pics below:Like I said, silly.

double sided tape would have been a better choice than silicon. but neat non the less

That's not silly--that's awesome! On another note, I just noticed that the little Cesna(?) on your avatar is going supersonic.

Yeah, I fueled it with the good stuff. I've actually been meaning to make a new avatar with my plane but haven't gotten around to it. I've got a Piper Warrior, seems like I should be featuring IT in my pic, heh.

I used to go to this small college out in Idaho and loved watching the crop dusters go to work. Man they could fly!

I love it!!! I can't believe I never thought of that. Wish I hadn't already debadged the Vibe and tossed the emblems

Yup! I've had it for a few years, I love it! I can fly my family around, and the kids really dig zero-g.Just applied the driver-side 'evil' badge, btw. Came out better than the first one, but the small e makes it difficult, heh.

I was thinking of that today as I was gluing the last one in-place, but then I realized: "Hey, I'm driving a Vibe, not an Aztek".

That looks honestly like crap. The e next to the V looks terrible. Your "eVil" vibe just looks "Vile"!!!

Maybe he's still sad that his Fusion was wrecked... (wouldn't blame him actually).

Nah, I'm not bothered. It's subjective, some folks like how things turn out, others don't.
