Wow, someone has taken great care of their Envy! Looks immaculate! You got a super clean car. I like the color. Agreed on those steelies. Rustoleum primer for rusty metal and then a couple of light coats of Rustoleum semi gloss black. I just did that to my son's steelies, very easy, quick and turned out like new.

Great looking car!I can't believe someone let that one get away (Your gain, though!)Seriously, who are these people who are such superstars they are selling 03-08s with so much life left in them?!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I had been looking for the past week for a replacement for my Satellite/Graphite '03 that was killed the week prior by a large deer. Lot of pressure to find just the right one and not have to travel for days to get there and back. Found this 3.5hrs from the house and paid 5995.00 for it. 115,404 miles on the clock. I think for it's condition and options, I got a very good deal. It's funny, when Pontiac first announced that they were going to build the Vibe, I signed up for the information packets that they sent out leading up to the '03's introduction to the public. When I saw the Envy, I thought, man that color will be different....in a cool way! Little did I know that 7 yrs later I would own one. Very happy! The wheels will be repainted and stored, as I am putting the factory 16"ers on. Then it will be as it would have been if I could have ordered a new one.
thanks for keeping it in the family! I lusted over Fiero when it first came out, but practical me went with a Grand Am that was so good to me for 14 years (there's still a piece of me missing since I had to let her go) but she's the one that started my Pontiac loyalty. My mom had a Bonneville for almost 14 years, then we had a Firebird and another Bonneville, and now we are on Pontiacs 5 and 6, both Vibes
ramenboy gave me an idea with his 2 tone comment. When you go to store your steelies... Rusty metal primer... two coats and then a coat of Envy. Might look pretty cool behind those wide open Pontiac wheel caps. For the excellent condition it seems to be in your pictures, if the mechanical side of your Vibe is sound, then you got a hell of a deal for $5995. At 115k, your Vibe should be almost broken in!

Interesting idea about color matching the steel wheels. I'll mull that around a bit, I think. This car is "tight". I know the original owner lived in Michigan and made quite a few trips back to the Cleveland, Ohio area. I believe, based on the condition of the plated surfaces under the hood, lack of chips to the front end paint, that this was a garage kept, non-winter use vehicle, for trips(highway miles). The powertrain is very quiet and the suspension/chassis is tight with no rattles or noises of any kind. Yes, I think the vehicle is just now broken in, and look forward to many more great years of ownership/excitement!
