on my previous car i had remote start installed and used a valet key...my car came with a valet key and two regular keys. vibe only has 2 key with remote and no valet key...so not sure if you can get one of those regular keys with a chip inside and no remote tho.

In Canada you can get a Fortin CAN Bus bypass module. Basically plug and play for the most part. No need for a Key. The module does need to be programmed by an install shop before installation.

yes i installed Viper 5101 just starter and used Fortin Key over ride all its far better than any other by pass. i installed in Missisauga, canada and person hooked up power door locks, and horn and very thing installed and Tax in for $ 249 with module and taxes. it was best price i found.http://www.selectivesouned.net person name is Davis and he own the place he did a pro job. i am aircraft technician and can easily see poor workmanship. but this guy is pro for $ 250 installed it was bargain.Future shop want 350 bucks plus tax. means 430 bucks.
