This may be unrelated, but if anyone else watches CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the episode "Bloodsport" (most recent episode) has a vibe in it. It's the car the Campus Police is driving and very clearly a Vibe (or Matrix), around 2:38 in the show. It is NSFW if you look at any parts beside the 2:38 mark (violence/blood).I'm into the whole legal, law enforcement and investigatory show thing.
There is a recent Nissan Versa commercial that airs in Quebec that pisses me off every time I see it.There is a 2009 vibe and a versa hatchback parked next to each other in a parking lot and 2 store clercks are wondering which is bigger. Then the Nissan "common sense" guy comes along and tells them it's an easy answer. The music starts up with the slogan "The biggest sub compact on the market"This pisses me off since they pretend the versa hatchback is bigger and has more cargo space than a vibe which couldn't be farther from the truth and they also use the vibe which is a compact and not a sub-compact.

From my experience at Enterprise Rent a Car (worked for a few months), the Vibe and Matrix were our "largest hatchbacks." I never measured the cubic feet in the Versa versus the Vibe or the Matrix, but it did not seem bigger. Looks deceive I guess If given the choice, everyone chose the Vibe/Matrix over the Versa any day. Didn't you guys order the 'full spare' option when you got your Vibes? The commercial is a hoot! Totally minimum for this one. Not sure if I like the color choice, though, they could have used a classier Vibe color.

I hadn't even read this thread when I saw the commercial. That's a cooler spot than some of the actual Vibe commercials they made way back when.

I saw it Thursday night on the Travel Channel right after I had read this thread . That "bling" stuff looks horrible, but besides that it's a great commercial. If only you really could pull a whole new car out of the hatch .

That level of digital manipulation has just recently gotten good enough to pull off a commercial like this one. Some of the comments about the car choice for the Liberty Mutual commercial were a bit disparaging. Too bad that most people don't know realize much room we have behind the front seats... and in the spare tire well!
