Wax for Wheels

Post by asburydan »

Any special ideas for waxing wheels. I put Bullit style WHITE wheels on my '95 Mustang GT and wondered if anyone has used anything that you really like on painted clear coated wheels. Thanks.

If the wheels are painted or coated (i.e. silver paint). Then using a car wax is the best thing. Most wheel polishes are for chrome or aluminum wheels that are not coated, thus they are a metal polish. Using a good quality wax like Meguiar's #26 NXT Gen Tech Wax 2.0 is the way to go.
