Those Mazda wheels have a great 5 spoke design, would look good on a vibe. I was eyeing those at one time. If you buy them please post pics!

I used to own a Protege5, and I am certain it was a different bolt pattern than the Vibe. I would test fit those wheels before you buy them.http://www.vehicle-bolt-patter....htmlshows them as 5X114.3 not 5X100I agree that those wheels would look good on the Vibe.
I don't know the year of the Protoge you have or may not have picked up on it, but I looked up a 94 Protoge FWD on tirerack and they show wheels 5X100 with offsets similar to those that would fit on a Vibe. You might want to track down the offset. I have 38mm offset aftermarket wheels and they fit very well... and would probably be ok to go all the way to a 35mm offset to get more of a flush fit. Anything with an offset more than 40-42mm, (OEM 17 inch alloy option for the Vibe was 45mm!) really look like they are too far inside the wheel well. But they will fit. Do your homework! That Protoge wheel looks realy good, too.

All years of Vibes (2003-2010) with 1.8L engines have always been fitted with a 5X100 bolt pattern. The only Vibes with the 5X114 bolt pattern are the 2009s and 2010s that were equipped with the enormous 2.4L engine. Mazda Protoge 5 is 5X114. So only the 2009-2010 2.4L engined Vibes share the 5X114 bolt pattern with the Mazda Protoge 5. I searched wheels for the Mazda Protoge 5 on tirerack. I need to go rest now.

The guy emailed me and said he still had them and would only ship them. I immediately called him and asked if I could pick them up, if they did fit my car, and he said no pickup. So I'm skipping that deal. Seems kinda weird to not allow pickup when he's supposedly only about 90 minutes from my house.

When you were interested in the 16" OEM hubcaps you let me know the DAY OF when you could pick them up. We tried to arrange something, but it did not work out due to both of our schedules. Then when you wanted them shipped, you know the rest.

Well if you're worried about that kind of thing, ebay would probably be a better option than Craigslist. Craigslist is a pretty standard local thing, whereas ebay is more shipping oriented. Yes, when you and I tried to work it out, we couldn't make it work, just due to the scheduling. I drive a lot, but I never know where I'll be driving to, day to day. You were open to the thought of me picking them up, though.

It just seems logical to me.

I was at my office, in the process of getting ready to drive up to Michigan to do a house fire investigation. I told you that all I had in my paypal account was $77.00 and that I'd either drop you off the remaining $5 if I were close enough to you at a time you were available, or I'd mail you a check for the remaining $5. Either way, you were getting the wheel cover price, plus the majority of the shipping. I told you I didn't have my bank account linked to paypal, because I never use paypal, and I wasn't going to risk getting fired for using a corporate AMEX to cover the difference. It's not like I asked you to ship, and promised to pay. I offered to pay 95% up front, in exchange for a little goodwill, and the promise that you'd have the remaining $5 that day, or if mailed, within 2 or 3, however long it takes to mail from Ohio to Michigan. Just so that's all clarified for the masses here.

You never did mention the "that day" or "drop off the renaming" part, did hint at in a text that if I can come farther closet to Detroit it would be good (was going to be out of my way already), and that you tend to be "impatient" - We went back and forth via text for a good hour. You have not even been a member here for a month. Not to mention notifying me the DAY OF you wanting to pick them up. Nor did I ask you to link your Business CC to your PayPal Account! I stated you could link YOUR (as in your personal) debit card or CC - but you did not have any. In the end it was best as I had more pressing matters to attend to. This was a very good lesson - do not allow local pick-up on anything unless the person is local or just ship the item.

I told you that was all I had with me at the moment, after you suggested attaching my personal account to my paypal account. I mentioned going closer to Detroit, after you mentioned that you'd be doing things later in the day. I didn't suggest you drive out of your way for it, just that if you were going to be going that way, it'd work out. I didn't even ask you to go to Sterling Heights. I told you how much I get paid for mileage. It wouldn't have hurt my feelings to drive the entire distance. That's why I use my personal car, rather than a company car. We both learned a lesson, you sold the hubcaps, I got a different sent in Indianapolis, and all is well. Let's just drop it, shall we?
